Provider pilot terms

Operating expectations for people contributing computers to the PlanetNodes private pilot.

Updated July 27, 2026

Your computer and authority

You must own the computer or have permission to contribute it. You are responsible for electricity, connectivity, local taxes, hardware wear, and compliance with local rules.

Safe operation

  • Keep the supported desktop agent and Docker sandbox enabled and up to date.
  • Do not weaken container isolation, falsify diagnostics, inspect customer work, or retain job data.
  • Pause the node if temperatures, power, storage, networking, or physical conditions are unsafe.
  • Protect the node token and report suspected compromise immediately.

Pilot availability and earnings

Work is not guaranteed. Displayed earnings remain subject to completed-job validation, disputes, payment processing, minimum payout rules, and applicable fees. Pilot access can be suspended to protect customers or the network.

No confidentiality promise

The current network does not provide trusted execution or host-level confidentiality. Providers must not intentionally access workload content, but customers are still told not to submit sensitive data.
