Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of the PlanetNodes compute marketplace.

Updated July 27, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PlanetNodes, you agree to these terms and the policies incorporated by reference. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

2. The service

PlanetNodes operates a marketplace that coordinates compute customers with independent providers. Availability, capacity, job completion, and specific results are not guaranteed.

3. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for accurate account information, activity under your credentials, and protecting API keys, node tokens, and payment access. Notify support promptly if you suspect compromise.

4. Customer responsibilities

You must have the rights needed to submit each workload and its data. Do not submit secrets, regulated data, or confidential information unless PlanetNodes has explicitly approved that use in writing.

5. Independent providers

Providers control the computers that execute workloads and are not PlanetNodes employees or agents. Provider participation is also governed by the Provider Terms.

6. Fees, billing, and payouts

Displayed prices and estimates may exclude taxes, payment-processing costs, disputes, refunds, or adjustments. Charges and provider payouts depend on validated job completion and applicable payment terms.

7. Acceptable use and enforcement

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may reject workloads, suspend access, preserve security records, or take other proportionate action to protect people, providers, customers, and the network.

8. Intellectual property

You retain rights in content you submit. You grant PlanetNodes the limited rights necessary to transmit, process, verify, store, and return that content as needed to operate the requested service.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Distributed compute carries risks including provider failure, inconsistent performance, and possible host-level access to workload data.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PlanetNodes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment, or harm to the network.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material updates will be posted with a revised date. Questions may be sent through the support page.
