Create the code
Sign in, open Connected computers, and generate a code. A new code invalidates the previous unused code, expires after 15 minutes, and works once.
Connect the desktop app
Open Desktop settings, paste the code under Provider account, and start the node. The node redeems the code using its private node credential; the desktop erases the code after success.
Manage the computer
- Rename, pause, or resume the provider
- Enable or disable public marketplace work
- Review completed jobs, reliability, pending earnings, and paid earnings
- Complete payout onboarding while signed in
- Disconnect ownership; the API pauses the provider before removing the account link
Security boundary
Connection codes do not replace the node token and cannot control jobs. Never share node tokens, API keys, copied logs containing credentials, or payout secrets.
